Alissa Torres

Alissa Torres is a certified SANS instructor, specializing in advanced computer forensics and incident response. She founded Sibertor Forensics and works as a senior security analyst at Mitre Corporation. Her industry experience includes incident handling with the Mandiant Computer Incident Response Team and performing internal investigations for a large government contractor. She has extensive experience in information security, spanning government, academic, and corporate environments. She holds a Bachelor's degree from UVA and a Master's degree from University of Maryland in Information Technology. She has presented at industry conferences and numerous B-Sides events. In addition to being a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), she holds the GCFE, GCIH, GPEN, CISSP, EnCE, and CFCE.
