Mr. Aleksandar Acev (DAI) is the Senior Regional Cybersecurity Advisor for the USAID-funded Critical Infrastructure Digitalization and Resilience (CIDR) program. With over 20 years of experience in information systems management and cybersecurity, he has developed and implemented various security policies and procedures. He founded and led the National CSIRT in North Macedonia, MKD-CIRT, for seven years, where he established the Information Sharing Network and implemented Incident Response and other CSIRT related services. Alexkandar has also focused on public cybersecurity awareness, initiating the first national open portal for cybersecurity training. He has developed and managed initiatives to enhance resilience and build capacity in critical infrastructure sectors.
