Aeva Black

Aeva Black is the Open Source Program Manager for Azure Confidential Compute, a member the Confidential Computing Consortium’s Outreach Committee and the Kubernetes Code of Conduct Committee, and an emeritus member of the OpenStack Technical Committee. They have 20 years’ experience as a software developer, system architect, database architect, business, and open source project leader. Previous work included founding the OpenStack “Ironic” Bare Metal project in 2013 and building a $100MM ad engine in 2008. Black is an outspoken advocate for trans rights, a frequent conference speaker, and a lifelong student of the Dharma.
