Adam J. O'Donnell Ph.D. is the Chief Architect in the Cloud Technology Group at Sourcefire, a computer security company based in Columbia, Maryland. O'Donnell is responsible for the architecture and development of Sourcefire's cloud antivirus infrastructure. He joined Sourcefire through its 2010 acquisition of Immunet, the Palo Alto-based cloud antivirus firm, where he served as the co-founder and director of cloud engineering. He has contributed to and co-authored several books, including the “Hacker's Challenge” series, and has served as a contributor to IEEE Security and Privacy and the ZDNet Zero Day blog. He completed his Ph.D. as a NSF Graduate Research Fellow in Drexel University's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in 2005.
