Zhengyu Liu is a third-year PhD student in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University, advised by Prof. Yinzhi Cao. His research focuses on Web and Software Security. He has published in top-tier venues including IEEE S&P ’26/’25/’24, USENIX Security ’25, and Computers & Security, receiving the Distinguished Paper Award (S&P ’25), Honorable Mention (USENIX Security ’25), and Best Student Paper Award (ICICS ’22). His work has uncovered numerous critical zero-day vulnerabilities (50+ CVEs) in widely deployed software, earning acknowledgments from major vendors including Google, Microsoft, Meta, Vercel, ByteDance, and Ant Group.
