Troy Bettencourt is the leader of IBM X-Force’s Incident Response practice for the AMERICAS region (Canada, USA, LATAM). Troy is able to perform incident and cyber crisis command for major cyber incidents as well as planning, coordinating, and conducting technical investigations of an extremely complex nature. Troy has over a decade of supervisory experience in the DFIR, law enforcement, and military spaces; three of those years as a member of the Executive Leadership Team of a government agency, over 18 years of digital forensics/incident response experience. He holds multiple GIAC Certifications and the Certified Fraud Examiner certification (ACFE).
