Tom Gillis, SVP/GM Cisco Security, Data Center, Internet & Cloud Infrastructure, is a respected leader in secure integrated networking, responsible for efforts to build secure infrastructure extended to the network. Previously, he led Cisco’s Security Business Group and served as SVP/GM Network & Advanced Security at VMware. Tom co-founded Bracket Computing, acquired by VMware, and was GM of Cisco's Security Technology Group. At IronPort Systems, he was a founding member and VP, Marketing. Tom also worked at iBEAM Broadcasting, Silicon Graphics, Boston Consulting Group, and advises startups and VCs. He holds an MBA from Harvard, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with an MSEE from Northwestern University and a BSEE from Tufts University.
