Susan Cassidy

Susan Cassidy is a partner at Covington & Burling and a member of the firm’s Government Contracts and Cybersecurity practice groups. She co-chairs the firm’s Aerospace and Defense Industry Group and is active in ABA and Industry cyber committees. Cassidy relies on her expertise and experience with the defense department and the intelligence community to help her clients navigate the complex regulatory intersection of cybersecurity, national security, and government contracts. Cassidy advises companies on a wide range of government supply chain issues, including cybersecurity incident response, disclosure, and safeguarding requirements. Prior to joining Covington, Cassidy served as in-house counsel at both Northrop Grumman Corporation and Motorola.
