Stan Duijf joined the Netherlands Police in 2005 and gained experience in various police leadership roles. As Police Chief in the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, he oversaw public order policing, criminal investigations, and community policing. Next, Stan led one of the Regional Intelligence Divisions for five years, while also holding national intelligence responsibilities. In 2024, Stan transitioned to a strategic position. As Deputy Chief Constable of the National Investigations and Special Operations, he is responsible for High Tech Crime and Cybercrime within the Netherlands Police and for all operations, policy, and strategy in this domain.
