Sherron Burgess
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, BCD Travel
Sherron Burgess joined BCD Travel in 2006 and currently serves as Sr. Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. With a specialty in strategic vision and program development, she has led the roll out of BCD Travel’s Information Security Program in 100+ countries. Burgess is also Vice President and board member for Cyversity, a non-profit dedicated to improving representation of women and minorities in cybersecurity. She has held certifications as a Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Holistic Information Security Practitioner (HISP), and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. Burgess holds a Bachelor of Arts from Siena College and a Masters of Science from Georgia Tech.
