Ryan Frampton has been a Computer Scientist for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Tampa Division, since 2014 and investigates criminal matters, including national security and cyber crimes. He has extensive experience in investigating complex, international cases and was lead technical investigator for the take down of the xDedic Marketplace as well as the NetWalker Ransomware group. Frampton holds GIAC certifications in digital forensics, cyber incident response, intrusion detection, malware reverse engineering, and penetration testing. Additionally, he is a member of the FBI Cyber Action Team and Virtual Currency Response Team. He received his M.S. in Cyber Security from the University of South Florida and a B.S. in Computer Science from Marshall University.
