Omri Ben-Bassat is a Malware Analyst and Reverse Engineer with world-class expertise defending against nation-state cyberattacks. He is currently doing IoT vulnerability research in Section 52, the security research team for Azure Defender for IoT (previously CyberX). He previously spent three years as a Senior Cybersecurity Researcher at Intezer, a malware analysis platform company, and five years in the IDF as a Cybersecurity Team Leader and Cybersecurity Researcher. He studied computer science at the Open University of Israel.
