Nitesh Thali

Nitesh Thali is a Lead Software Engineer with 15+ years of experience building and securing large-scale distributed systems. He currently works on bank-grade identity and authentication platforms at Grab, securing hundreds of millions of users across Southeast Asia. His work spans identity, fraud prevention, account takeover defense, privacy, and post-quantum cryptography (PQC). Previously, he was a core contributor to ArcEngine, a massively parallel query engine later acquired by Cloudera. Nitesh holds a master’s degree from Arizona State University and regularly contributes to the security community as a judge, speaker, and mentor.
