Miriam Vogel is President and CEO of EqualAI, a non-profit created to reduce harms in AI and promote responsible AI governance. She also serves as Chair of the National AI Advisory Committee, mandated by Congress to advise the President and White House on AI policy. Miriam cohosts a podcast, In AI we Trust? and has taught Technology Law and Policy at Georgetown University Law Center. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and also serves as a senior advisor to the Center for Democracy and Technology. Miriam has served in a variety of leadership positions across the US government, most recently as Associate Deputy Attorney General at the Department of Justice, and has served in the White House in two Administrations. She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center.
