Marijn Philip Maria Schuurbiers

Marijn Schuurbiers pursued a degree in Police Management at the Dutch Police Academy in Apeldoorn (NL). After serving as team leader at Breda's city-center Police Station (NL) for three years, his passions for computing and policing merged in the National High Tech Crime Unit of the Dutch National Police. Marijn served at this cybercrime unit for 12 years in various senior positions. During this period, he completed a postgraduate Master in Cybersecurity at the University of Lancaster (UK) and served three years overseas at an Organized Crime Unit on the Dutch Caribbean, in Curacao. On July 1, 2022, Marijn started as Head of Operations at Europol's Cybercrime Centre (EC3), serving as the data, people, and case hub for international cybercriminal operations.
