Katherine B. Forrest is a former federal judge who is co-chair of the Paul, Weiss Digital Technologies Practice. Judge Forrest has written two books on AI and has two more forthcoming. She has also written numerous articles on AI and ethics, algorithmic bias, compliance, and governance issues, as well as on virtual and augmented reality. She is a regular speaker on AI issues both domestically and internationally and is one of the most sought after speakers on AI issues to the state and federal judiciary. She was inducted as a Governor into the New York Academy of Science for her work on AI and ethics, and was named as a top legal practitioner by the Financial Times for 2023 and was named an Individual Innovation Award Winner by the New York Law Journal for 2023.
