Jody Jacobs, CRISC is a Computer Scientist in the Usability Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Her research interests include user susceptibility to phishing attacks, security adoption, and security awareness. Jody has spoken across multiple sectors including government, industry, and academia and was a member of the NIST Risk Management Framework Team. Prior to federal service, Jody served over 20 years in the private sector as a contractor to multiple federal clients working in the area of risk management, cybersecurity, business continuity, and network administration/engineering. She holds a MS in information systems from Strayer University and a BS in environmental science from the University of Rochester.
