Jenai Marinkovic

Jenai Marinkovic is CEO/Cofounder of GRCIE, a nonprofit providing tuition-free cybersecurity education through its award-winning NextCISO Academy. She serves as vCISO/CTO for Tiro Security and on ISACA's AI Governance Working Group. A 25-year cybersecurity leader, Jenai architected ISACA's AI Audit Toolkit, a 1500+ control framework for AI governance. She specializes in AI security, IoT and edge systems, training students in cross-domain thinking where physical sciences, cyber-physical systems, and critical infrastructure converge. Her research "Governing Cognition" redefines AI incident response, revealing the breach is in what systems believe, detecting drift and steering systems to alignment. Speaking at RSAC, ISACA, ISSA, and Cloud Security Alliance, she shapes AI security discourse.
