Dimitri Tzimas has more than 20 years of technology experience, including 10 years in CTO level positions in the finance and education sectors. He is currently the Head of Security Architecture and Research at PayPal. He holds a PhD in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with concentration in mathematical logic and a BA/MA combined degree from the City University of New York. He has taught Computer Science and Mathematics at MIT, Trinity College and St. John’s University where, as a full-time faculty, redesigned the Computer Science program. He is a CISSP, HCISSP, CISM and Cloud Computing certified (CCSP). He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Cyber Security at Yeshiva University, Katz Graduate School where he also serves as a member of the program Advisory Board.
