David Ring

David Ring is the Section Chief of the FBI’s Cyber Engagement and Intelligence Section where he leads the FBI Cyber Division’s private sector engagement and cyber-criminal intelligence missions. Ring joined the FBI as an Intelligence Analyst in 2004. Prior to joining the Cyber Division, Ring served in a variety of capacities in support of the Counterterrorism mission, including as an Intelligence Analyst in support of multiple counterterrorism investigations. Ring served as the FBI Counterterrorism Division’s Senior Liaison Officer to the National Counterterrorism Center before being promoted to Assistant Section Chief over the FBI’s Domestic Terrorism and Homegrown Violent Extremist intelligence program in 2018.
