David Gerault

David Gerault is a senior cryptanalyst at Technology Innovation Institute (TII, Abu Dhabi). His main research interest is the interactions between AI, optimisation and cryptanalysis, with a particular focus on the design of automated tools to assist cryptographers. He also has a foot in the domain of provable security, through his past research work on security models for time-based (distance bounding) authentication protocols.
