Christopher Young is EVP of business development at Microsoft, responsible for the company’s global business development strategy, including strategic partnerships and alliances, venture investments, and joint ventures. Young is the former CEO of McAfee, LLC and in 2017 he led the initiative to spin McAfee out of Intel into a standalone company. Earlier in his career, he led cybersecurity efforts at Cisco, RSA and AOL, led end user computing at VMware and cofounded the company Cyveillance. He serves on the board of directors of American Express and is a member of the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. Young holds an A.B. degree from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two daughters.
