Christopher Hale

Christopher Hale is Senior Director and Associate General Counsel for Cyber and National Security at Cisco Systems, where he supports Cisco's global cybersecurity-related governance, risk and compliance programs. He joined Cisco from Raytheon Technologies and previously held roles at Microsoft, the US Department of Justice, the US Department of Treasury, and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. He is a Vice Chair of the ABA Public Contract Law Section’s Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Data Protection Committee. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy. He received a JD from Columbia Law School and a BS in foreign service from Georgetown University.
