Christopher Hale

Christopher D. Hale is the Senior Director for Cyber and National Security Law at Cisco, where he leads the legal team responsible for advising and driving compliance strategies for legal and policy matters related to cybersecurity and operational resilience. He joined Cisco from Raytheon Technologies and previously held roles at Microsoft and the Department of Justice’s National Security Division. Christopher is a Visiting Fellow at the National Security Institute at George Mason University and a contributor to the Practicing Law Institute treatise, "Cybersecurity: A Practical Guide to the Law of Cyber Risk." He is a Fulbright research grantee and received a JD from Columbia Law School and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
