Christopher Cleary

Christopher Cleary serves as the Department of the Navy Chief Principal Cyber Advisor. Previously, he was the DON Chief Information Security Officer and Director of the DON CIO Cybersecurity Directorate. Chris also worked as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for Leidos' Cyber & SIGINT Solutions Operation. Chris is a retired Naval Officer who served in leadership roles supporting CYBERCOMMAND, National Security Agency, Office of Naval Intelligence, National Reconnaissance Office, and Joint Special Operations Command. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Program Management Professional. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and obtained an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
