Chris Novak is the VP of Verizon Global Cybersecurity Solutions. He has 20+ years of cybersecurity experience ranging from field work to Fortune 100 C-suite and board advisory roles. He served on the United States inaugural Cyber Safety Review Board and was named a Top Cybersecurity Leader by Security Magazine. He has been a contributing author to the Verizon DBIR since 2008 as well as being featured in TV, radio, and print media. He is a Member of the Forbes Technology Council, where he frequently writes on the topic of cybersecurity. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MBA from Columbia Business School, a CISO Certificate from Carnegie Mellon, and maintains active CISSP, CISA, PCI QSA & PFI, and other certifications.
