Blake Pennington

Blake Pennington is an experienced early-stage investor and enterprise SaaS operator. He is currently a Principal at Munich Re Ventures where he focuses on Seed to Series B investments in the Cybersecurity and Future of Transportation sectors where he invests under the investment thesis of Risk Transfer. Previously, Blake focused on cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure investments at Fusion Fund and was an Associate at In-Q-Tel, the strategic investment partner of the US intelligence community. He was Director, Corporate Development at Profit Velocity Solutions, an early-stage enterprise software start-up focused on profit optimization for complex manufacturing where he helped grow the company from $0 revenue to its first few million in ARR. Blake received his MBA from Georgetown University where he was a Global Champion of the Venture Capital Investment Competition and received his BBA from Loyola Marymount University where he graduated as the Entrepreneurship Student of the Year.
