Andrew Lohn is a senior fellow in the Center for Security and Emerging Technology at Georgetown University. His work focuses on understanding the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. He has a PhD in electrical engineering and worked at NASA, Hewlett Packard Labs, and Sandia National Labs. Having also worked extensively in policy and governance issues, he is currently a faculty member in Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service. He has presented at technical conferences such as Black Hat and NeurIPS and has also testified before the Senate and House of Congress. He has taught courses on both artificial intelligence and cybersecurity and has written extensively on both topics.
