Alexander Bienstock is a third-year PhD student in the Computer Science department at New York University, where he is a member of the Cryptography group and is advised by Yevgeniy Dodis. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University in May 2019. His primary interests lie in formally analyzing real-world cryptography protocols, specifically Secure (Group) Messaging protocols and private outsourced storage protocols. He is fortunate to be supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
