An information security and compliance veteran with 20+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions, Alderman came to Tenable from RSA, where he led product strategy and messaging for Archer. Before RSA, he was responsible for enhancements to the SaaS platform and Policy Compliance solution at Qualys, where he also co-authored and published Policy Compliance for Dummies. Alderman was the Founder and Chief Technical Officer at ControlPath, where he and co-inventor Sean Molloy were issued US Patent 7,788,150: Method for assessing risk in a business.

Ben Johnson is Co-founder and Chief Security Strategist at Carbon Black, a partner of M.Tech. In the past two years he has met with over 500 organizations, travelled over 300,000 miles and presented in 10 countries. The rest of his time is spent working on innovation and product efforts, and focusing on openness and API capabilities. Prior to Carbon Black, he spent several years working in U.S. Intelligence, first at NSA and then as a defence contractor. Johnson has computer science degrees from the University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins University.

Christopher K. Stangl began his career as a special agent with the FBI in 2003. After attending the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, Stangl was assigned to the FBI's Oklahoma City Field Office where he investigated various cyber cases involving criminal computer intrusions, counterterrorism/counterintelligence computer intrusions, intellectual property rights violations, child pornography, extortion, and Internet fraud.
In 2006, Stangl was transferred to the FBI's New York Field Office, where he continued to investigate cyber cases, primarily high profile internationally focused computer intrusion matters. While in New York, he served as a supervisory special agent where he aggressively worked with Legal Attach? Offices, the FBI's overseas offices, to formulate strategic partnerships with foreign law enforcement counterparts to ensure the successful apprehension and prosecution of international cyber criminals.
In 2010, Stangl received the FBI Director's Award for Excellence in Outstanding Cyber Investigation for his groundbreaking work in successfully identifying and dismantling a well-organized cyber crime ring of international and domestic co-conspirators. Most recently, he is serving as the section chief for Cyber Operations Section V, which oversees all cyber criminal investigations for FBI's Cyber Division.
Stangl holds a bachelor of science from Peru State College, Nebraska, a master of business administration from Monmouth University, New Jersey, and is currently enrolled at Carnegie Mellon's MS Information Technology program.

Prior to Intel, Rolleston was the Senior Director of Product Management for Enterprise Routing at Cisco with responsibility for product strategy across the enterprise and service provider markets for WAN routing, Software Defined WAN (SDWAN), network function virtualization (NFV) and converged branch infrastructure. He joined Cisco in 2011 and worked in multiple areas within Enterprise. Prior to Cisco, Rolleston held a variety of senior positions at Symantec Inc.

He holds a B.S. in applied physics and a masters in engineering management from Cornell University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Alex Taverner

Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Products, where he provided leadership for RSA’s product development and product management organizations. Yoran founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of NetWitness, the market-leading network forensic product provider, which was acquired by RSA in 2011. In 2003 and 2004, he served as Founding Director of the US-CERT program. Prior to that role, Yoran was Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Riptech, which was acquired by Symantec in 2002, and where he subsequently served as Vice President of Worldwide Managed Security Services. Yoran is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point and George Washington University.
