Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Programs
Governance: Seeking input and guidance from the community
The RSAC Conference Advisory Board, formed with respected members of our community to provide a voice in the industry, has evolved to provide opinions on the content at RSAC, and on a broader set of issues, including DE&I issues in the cyber sector.
Experience: Ensuring RSA Conference is a welcoming, safe and comfortable space—online and in-person—for all
Code of Conduct and Exhibitor Dress Code Guidelines: Regularly review RSAC policies and implement updates as well as improve alert and enforcement processes.
A Prayer Room for attendees and staff at our in-person events.
Provide Closed Captioning (English for RSAC USA).
Programming: Content and activity that create an environment for positive and inclusive dialogue, bringing all voices together
Increased representation of diverse voices throughout all of our content – speaking sessions, keynotes, podcasts and blogs.
Ensure the language in our Call for Speakers is inclusive and encourages diverse points of view and backgrounds, and is promoted across our community, including to various affinity groups to encourage their participation. Work with affinity groups to equip and support new speakers.
On the keynote stages, we will not have any all-male panels. We also provide guidance to our sponsors to encourage them to use their sessions as a platform for more expansive perspectives, identities and backgrounds.
We hold our annual RSAC Women’s Networking Reception at RSAC USA.
Offer content that addresses personal and professional development, building successful cybersecurity teams, and retaining talent.
Promote events and other programs from our community including affinity group meet-ups which are designed to bring together like-minded people.
Investment: Investing in solutions and partnerships that address the roots of bias and exclusion
Provide Full Conference passes and discounts to affinity groups who gather and champion under-represented groups in cybersecurity, as well as to college students through our RSAC Security Scholar and RSAC College Day programs.
