RSAC Virtual Seminar: Building a Trustworthy Workforce in the Era of AI Part 2

January 8, 2026 | 10:00 AM PT | 1:00 PM ET Virtual Seminars
PART 2: Traditional Sessions

Session 1: How AI Is Reshaping Cybersecurity Career Paths

Recent advancements in Generative AI have been redefining roles, skills, and advancement across all industries, and cybersecurity is no exception. This session will focus on strategies that cybersecurity leaders can take to safeguard early-career opportunities to ensure new talent can still gain experience, develop expertise, and build sustainable cybersecurity careers as organizations adapt to technological change.

Speaker: Chuck Kesler, CISO, Pendo.io

Session 2: AI’s Real Workforce Impact Is Unpredictable

Workforce development is undergoing a profound transformation. Breakthroughs exceed expectations but amplify risks. Security teams must redefine what it means to be a "beginner" and emphasize the use of AI as augmentation. Individuals should question, test, and share insights to turn AI from a risk into resilience, especially with the next generation of analysts who will be AI natives.

Speaker: Adam Arellano, Field CTO, Harness

Session 3: Insider by Design: How Threat Actors Use Employment to Infiltrate Organizations

A growing number of sophisticated cyber adversaries are shifting from traditional exploitation methods to a subtler, more strategic approach, infiltrating companies by posing as legitimate job applicants. These state-aligned or financially motivated actors aim to embed themselves within organizations by securing actual employment, especially in technical, remote, or contractor roles where they can quietly collect intelligence, exfiltrate data, or facilitate broader access. This session will expose the tactics and tradecraft behind these infiltration campaigns, including the creation of convincing fake identities with forged credentials and work histories, use of legitimate developer portfolios laced with backdoors or obfuscated tooling, targeting of staffing firms, remote hiring portals, and freelance platforms to gain access under reduced scrutiny, and evasion of standard background checks and use of proxies to bypass geographic restrictions.

Speaker: Damian Grant, Senior Director, Information Security, Amgen

Session 4: Preventing Sophisticated Remote Employment Fraud

This session addresses the escalating threat of sophisticated remote employment fraud in today's globalized workforce. It will provide HR professionals with critical insights and actionable strategies to identify and prevent schemes designed to infiltrate organizations and gain access to sensitive assets. Key focus will be on understanding the highly organized and deceptive tactics, exemplified by the DPRK's state-sponsored remote employment fraud model, and how to safeguard workforce integrity and organizational security.

Speakers: Roderick Chambers, Recorded Future Lead Security and Risk Engineer—Security and Brian Solecki, Recorded Future Director, Security and Safety
