This Quick Look provides a short preview of the full session being presented at RSAC 2026 Conference. Frustration over rising cyberthreats has led to calls for legalizing private-sector "hack backs," but many companies already lead narrow, offensive-like actions permitted under current law. This session will invite participants to join the conversation and explore legal, operational, and other barriers to scaling active defenses so that more organizations can defend against advanced threats.
