In 2015, Dmitriy Smilyanets pleaded guilty to running one of the worst criminal hacking groups ever prosecuted by US authorities. His story was chronicled in the Wall Street Journal podcast, Hack Me if You Can. In this session, Mr. Smilyanets and the federal prosecutor who charged him, Erez Lieberman, will tell their story, which is the story of the Russian cybercrime problem.
