Significant developments of privacy standards by ISO/EC, NIST, or the European CEN-CENELEC aim at supporting privacy risk management and embedding privacy by design. They have substantial overlap with the broader area of information security. This session will provide an overview of privacy standards and security standards with privacy relevance, and dive into their convergence in practice.
