Japan’s New Cybersecurity Strategy to Close an IoT Gap

The year 2018 is a big year for Japan’s cybersecurity policy with a new Cybersecurity Strategy and the revised Telecommunications Business Act to tackle growing cybersecurity challenges. The government also introduced a tax incentive for IoT and cybersecurity investments. This session will analyze current cybersecurity challenges in Japan and how Japanese policy is trying to tackle with them.
