Information security involves protecting the access, availability and integrity of data. The community has been focused on the first two mandates of that charter. Integrity has mostly been taken for granted, yet it represents a truly pernicious threat. This session will cover disinformation’s place in security, parallels to other infosec problems and efforts underway to combat it.
Learning Objectives:

2: Discover how information is manipulated online.
3: Learn methods to use to protect non-numeric data.
