Securing the North American Electric Grid

Posted on in Presentations

The North American Power Grid, covering all of the USA and Canada as well as a portion of Mexico, is the largest machine ever constructed. To control and balance such a complex system requires plenty of computing power and a necessary exposure to external threats. This talk will be presented by the grid’s chief security officer and will detail specific grid security techniques and tactics.
