Both Qualcomm Snapdragon and Huawei Hisilicon Kirin are among the top SoC vendors in the Chinese Android smartphone arena. As such, it is crucial to evaluate the security aspect on full disk encryption on user data. This session will explore how to extract unencrypted user data from Qualcomm Snapdragon and Huawei Kirin Android smartphone through different attacking surfaces and vectors.
