Personnel skill shortages continue to persist, as demonstrated in ISACA’s recent State of Cybersecurity survey of the security landscape. This increases the importance of automation, applies pressure to cultivate security already in place and makes automated techniques and ‘situational awareness’ more compelling. This discussion will review the findings of the survey and implications in Asia.
