For nearly two years now, our lives have been governed by mantras from “expect the unexpected,” to “it is what it is.” We all want to be able to plan with the level of certainty that we had before March of 2020, but life has changed, and we all have learned to transform. RSA Conference is also transforming. While we are still planning for a physical event, we have officially announced that RSA Conference 2022 has elected to move its event from February 7-10 to June 6-9, 2022. The physical event will remain in San Francisco at the Moscone Center.
What does this mean?
In planning for our 2022 event, we have remained in close contact with the City of San Francisco while monitoring the recommendations from WHO and the CDC and adhering to federal and state regulations around the size of gatherings, social distancing, health and sanitization protocols.
Due to the surge in cases of the Omicron variant in the US and around the world, our team reviewed the science and guidance we have at the moment and determined that the health and safety of our community is best served by moving the dates of the physical event to June.
Right now, our working assumption is that we will be hosting a physical event and we will be in contact with those of you who have already registered and made hotel accommodations for RSAC 2022.
Know that we are committed to bringing the cybersecurity community together when we can better ensure the safety and wellbeing of our community. You can trust that we will remain transparent in our communication, providing the most up-to-date details about health and safety protocols on our Health and Safety Hub.
Your Trusted Source of Thought Leadership
RSAC has always been a premier cybersecurity resource committed to and supported by community engagement, and that will not change. Our mission remains the same: to build an experience that shapes and supports the cybersecurity industry. Because we recognize that travel will be impacted as businesses revise company-wide policies, individual comfort levels in traveling and attending events fluctuate, and international attendees are required to adhere to the travel advisories made by their country and the United States, we will offer a Digital Pass for those who are unable to join us in person. The Digital Pass will offer some live streamed content as well as the majority of track sessions available on-demand within 24 hours of the session running live at the physical event in San Francisco.
Whether attending a live event or consuming content that RSAC 365 provides year-round, the cybersecurity community can expect on-going access to the people, content and ideas that help protect our world.
Outside of the physical event, we are working to bring you more from those trusted voices. We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco in June. Until then, we invite you to explore learning opportunities through our RSAC 365 Cybersecurity Learning Program and explore our Library of content available On Demand.
