Qualified members of the media are encouraged to register for a complimentary Press Pass, Analyst Pass, or Content Creator Pass at RSA Conference 2027. In the interest of maintaining a neutral and productive media working environment, every Press Pass, Analyst Pass, and Content Creator Pass application will be evaluated independently from previous years.
Who Qualifies for Media Credentials at RSA Conference?
Media credentials are intended for individuals attending RSA Conference primarily to produce independent editorial, research, or content coverage of the Conference. Those who write for a vendor-neutral site may be considered for Press Passes, Analyst Passes, or Content Creator Passes; however, writers, including bloggers, who plan to attend on behalf of an exhibitor will not be granted a Press Pass, Analyst Pass, or Content Creator Pass for RSA Conference 2027. Sponsored, vendor-produced, or primarily promotional content does not qualify as independent media coverage. All freelance writers must be able to provide an editorial assignment from a reputable editor at an appropriate publication and/or provide a valid email address from that media outlet.
Individuals attending primarily in a sales, marketing, social media, PR, business development, account management, or other vendor capacity are not eligible for media credentials, even if they have qualified in the past. These individuals will need to purchase a standard pass to attend RSA Conference.
*PLEASE NOTE*: In order to obtain a complementary media pass for RSA Conference 2027, all media members who covered RSA Conference 2026 using a media pass will be REQUIRED to submit proof of coverage or content from the 2026 event in order to be considered for media credentials at the 2027 event. Those who do not produce viable coverage or content while using a media pass may not meet media credential requirements moving forward.
For photographers and videographers that have been contracted to capture content for speakers, exhibitors or media -- you will be able to apply for a media crew credential once the RSA Conference 2027 agenda has been posted in February 2027. Please check back then or reach out with any questions to PR@RSAConference.com.
