Everything You Need to Get RSAC 2027 Approved
Each year for RSA Conference™, the cybersecurity community comes together in San Francisco to learn from experts, compare notes with peers, and find solutions to bring back to their teams.
With AI changing how attacks happen and how teams defend against them, time in the room with the people solving these problems has real value for your organization. This guide gives you what you need to make the case: the key benefits of attending, a ready-to-send letter for your manager, and tips for tailoring your request to your team's priorities.
The Cybersecurity Community Convenes at RSAC
RSA Conference isn't a vendor showcase with sessions bolted on. It's built around the content—a program shaped by the same practitioners who'll be sitting next to you, and it shows in how attendees come back. Here’s why being in the room matters, from actual RSA Conference attendees.
The Advantages of Attendance
Learn From the Experts
Choose from 21 tracks of expert-led sessions, with speaker Q&A in every track session so you can bring your own challenges into the room. From AI security to identity, cloud, and threat intelligence, you'll leave with practices your team can put to work right away. We also make CE credits easy with a personalized attendance report you can submit to your certifying associations.
Grow Your Community
RSAC™ 2026 brought together 43,000+ members of the cybersecurity community from 116 countries. Networking receptions, the MeetUp Hub, and time between sessions give you room to meet peers who have already worked through the problems you're facing, and to keep those conversations going long after April.

Make My Case
We've written the letter to your manager for you!
Copy the letter below into an email, personalize it for your team and role, and send it to your manager. It covers the key benefits of attending RSAC™ 2027 with a Core Pass, along with the cost details your manager will need to approve your request.
How to use this letter:
- Fill in the purple fields. Add your manager's name, your estimated costs, and the date you need to register by to get the price you're quoting.
- Make it about your team. Swap in one or two priorities your team is working on right now, such as AI governance, vulnerability management, or identity. The more specific you are, the stronger your case.
- Pick sessions that match your goals. Once the agenda is live in January 2027, add two or three sessions or tracks you plan to attend. It shows your manager exactly where your time will go.
- Estimate your costs. Use the current pass price from our Passes & Rates page, plus travel, hotel, and meals. Prices increase after each deadline, so note the date that locks in your rate.
- Send it early. Approval can take time, and registering before December 19 gets you the lowest price of the year.
Subject line: Request to attend RSA Conference 2027
Dear [Decision Maker Name], I'm requesting approval to attend RSA Conference™ 2027, April 5–8, 2027, in San Francisco. RSAC is where the world talks security. Each year, more than 43,000 members of the cybersecurity community come together to learn from the practitioners solving today's toughest problems. This year, AI security runs through nearly every part of Conference.
The timing matters. The 2026 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report found that vulnerability exploitation is now the top way attackers get in. It accounted for 31% of breaches, which is the first time in the report's 19-year history that it has overtaken stolen credentials. Verizon also found that AI is helping attackers shrink the time to exploit a known flaw from months to hours. Our team needs to keep pace, and RSAC is where I can learn directly from the people doing it well.
A Core Pass will allow me to:
- Learn from experts across all 21 tracks, with speaker Q&A in every track session, so I can ask how they would approach challenges like [insert your priority, e.g., vulnerability management, identity, cloud].
- Go deeper on AI security, from governing our own use of AI to defending against AI-accelerated attacks, through Track Sessions, Partner Seminars, and AI Central.
- Hear from industry leaders at Main Stage and YBCA Keynotes throughout the week.
- Connect with peers at networking receptions and the MeetUp Hub, and explore programs like Innovation Sandbox and Launch Pad, where emerging solutions make their debut.
- Evaluate solutions at the Expo and at Sponsor Briefings, so I can bring back options worth a closer look.
- Earn CE credits with less paperwork, using the personalized attendance report RSAC provides for submission to certifying associations.
Costs
The approximate investment for my attendance is as follows [complete the information as appropriate]:
Travel costs: $[XXX]
Accommodations: $[XXX]
Meals (4 days at $[XXX]): $[XXX] – daily hot breakfast and refreshments are included with a Core Pass!
Core Pass: $[XXX]*
TOTAL COST: $[XXX]
*Cost varies depending on the registration pricing period.
What I'll bring back to our team
When I return, I'll share a summary of key takeaways, practices we can adopt, and solutions worth evaluating. I'll also include a short plan for applying what I learned to [insert team priority, e.g., AI governance, patch prioritization]. With attackers moving faster, time in the room with experts who have already solved these problems is one of the most efficient investments we can make in our security posture.
To register at the price listed above, I need to purchase my pass [before December 19].
Thank you for your consideration.
