Cryptography

What started in 1991 as a gathering of cryptographers and cybersecurity pioneers has evolved into the world’s leading cybersecurity event. RSAC™ Conference is the industry’s convening authority, built on a legacy of innovation and collaboration. The pioneering cryptographers behind the letters R, S, and A, Ron Rivest, Adi Shamir, and Len Adelman, laid the foundation for our lasting impact, and their contributions continue to shape who we are today.

RSAC continues to invest in the advancement of cryptography and the broader security ecosystem. We provide a dedicated Conference track, trusted resources on critical topics, collaborate year-round with leading cryptography experts, and celebrate excellence across the field through initiatives such as the RSAC Conference Excellence in Mathematics Awards and Test of Time Awards. Through these efforts, we honor the discipline’s foundational role in cybersecurity while supporting the innovators shaping its future.

Test of Time Awards

The RSAC Test of Time Awards are dedicated to the application and advancement of cryptography and its impact to the broader cybersecurity community while honoring the discipline’s foundational and innovative role. The 2026 Test of Time Award recognizeds papers from the first three years of CT-RSA proceedings (2001-2003), evaluating them based on number of academic citations and the lasting industry impact of the research on the field.

Test of Time: Oracle Diffie-Hellman Assumptions and an Analysis of DHIES

The authors of The Oracle Diffie-Hellman Assumptions and an Analysis of DHIES paper, published in 2001 as part of the first RSAC Cryptography track in 2001, are: Michel Abdalla, Mihir Bellare, and Phillip Rogaway.

Test of Time: Homomorphic Signature Schemes

The authors of the Homomorphic Signature Schemes paper, published in 2002, are: Robert Johnson, David Molnar, Dawn Song, and David Wagner.
