The Trump Administration & Congress: Decrypting the Cybersecurity Agenda

This panel will offer a unique window into the Hill’s perspectives on a litany of issues, including law enforcement access to data, encryption, cross-border access requests and source code reviews, data breach notification, Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure, IOT security, and, of course, the response to disinformation campaigns by foreign actors and social media’s responsibility regarding these actors.

1: Understand key hot button legislative issues and their status on the Hill
2: Learn about key drivers and obstacles to new legislation and timeframes in which to anticipate changes
3: Explore the latest legislative directives being taken to respond to disinformation campaigns by foreign actors via social media
