Media Registration

Qualified members of the media are encouraged to register for a complimentary Press Pass, Analyst Pass, or Content Creator Pass at RSA Conference™ 2024. In the interest of maintaining a neutral and productive press working environment, every Press Pass, Analyst Pass, and Content Creator Pass application will be evaluated independently from previous years.

New for 2024—Media Pass Types

There are 3 media pass types with different access to select from when applying for media credentials at RSA Conference:

  • Press Pass
For traditional, accredited members of the press writing for a media outlet(s) on assignment. This pass is the equivalent to a Full Conference Pass (minus access to Learning Labs and Birds of a Feather sessions which are restricted to press).

  • Analyst Pass
For traditional analysts working in cybersecurity on assignment from an analyst firm or outlet. This pass is the equivalent to a Full Conference Pass (minus access to Learning Labs and Birds of a Feather sessions which are restricted to analysts).

  • Content Creator Pass
Our newest media pass is designed for bloggers and content influencers on assignment to attend and cover RSA Conference. This pass is the equivalent to an Expo Plus Pass with access to select tracks, Keynotes, and networking events.

*PLEASE NOTE*: In order to obtain a complementary media pass for RSA Conference 2025, all media members who cover RSA Conference 2024 using a media pass will be REQUIRED to submit proof of coverage or content from the 2024 event in order to be considered for media credentials at the 2025 event. Those who do not produce viable coverage or content while using a media pass will no longer be considered for media credentials moving forward.

You will be notified via email if your application is accepted, denied, or if additional information is required. If you have any questions, please contact the PR team at

Who Qualifies for Media Credentials at RSA Conference?

Those who write for a vendor-neutral site may be considered for Press Passes, Analyst Passes, or Content Creator Passes; however, writers, including bloggers, who plan to attend on behalf of a vendor will not be granted a Press Pass, Analyst Pass, or Content Creator Pass for RSAC 2024. All freelance writers must be able to provide an editorial assignment from a reputable editor at an appropriate publication and/or provide a valid email address from that media outlet.

Those with sales, social media, marketing, or account management roles will not be considered for media credentials, even if considered in the past.

Recording and Filming at RSA Conference

If you have plans to record audio or video onsite, prior approval, coordination, and understanding of Moscone and RSAC filming guidelines is required to make sure your onsite experience goes smoothly. Please reach out to our PR team at for detailed filming information and assistance with your request. NEW for 2024: two drop in recording booths (located in Moscone North Lower Lobby, outside North Expo, and Moscone South, Esplanade level) will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to record video.

Media 1:1 Meeting Rooms

With RSAC only a few weeks away, you can now start planning your 1:1 meetings with exhibitors through the portal here. We have included a step-by-step instruction guide here regarding how to schedule the meetings, which can be facilitated by you or the exhibitors.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This tool is designed ONLY for scheduling a meeting that has already been pre-arranged by both parties ahead of time. RSA Conference does not get involved in arranging meetings – that is the responsibility of the exhibitors and the members of the media. Also of note, this meeting space is NOT to be used for sales meetings of any kind.

Once you’ve scheduled the meeting, the exhibitor will receive an email notification which they can then accept or deny, and then the meeting will appear on both calendars once it is confirmed. This process works the same way for exhibitors who schedule meetings with media.

Should you have any difficulty scheduling these 1:1 meetings, or have any questions regarding the process, please reach out to and the media relations team will be happy to assist. All 1:1 meetings will take place in Room 156 & 158 in Moscone South, Esplanade level. Meetings may be scheduled in 30 or 60-minute increments. On-site scheduling may be available based on a first-come, first-served basis by talking with the media relations team outside the 1:1 meeting rooms.
