Senior Strategic Cyber Risk Analyst, Intel Corporation

Tim Casey is a Senior Strategic Risk Analyst with Intel Corp. in the company’s InfoSec Threat Intelligence and Infrastructure Protection group. He is responsible for developing and managing advanced risk management capabilities such as Intel’s threat agent analysis, insider risk, and wargaming programs. For the past two years, Tim has also led a cross-functional team at Intel to first engage with industry efforts to shape the U.S. Cybersecurity Framework, then successfully pilot the new Framework internally across the company’s Information Technology unit. Originally a systems designer, Tim started at Intel designing critical security capabilities for high-speed manufacturing. Before coming to Intel he worked in the U.S. defense industry and was an architect of many government and commercial high-security systems. Tim is the lead cyberdefense advisor for the Arizona Cyber Threat Response Alliance. He is also the Industry Chair of the IT-SCC Risk Assessment Working Group, where he was the lead industry architect of U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security’s CARMA sector risk assessment methodology.
