Professor Steve Black

Associate Dean for Strategy and Innovation, Texas Tech University School of Law

Prior to moving to Texas, Steve Black taught at the law schools of Brigham Young University, the University of New Hampshire, LSU, Syracuse University, the University of Idaho, and at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. He focuses on cyber, entrepreneurship and tax issues. He is a frequent Speaker in the US and Asia and has been named a Visiting Scholar at the National University of Singapore.

Black has been cited in Forbes, and his articles have been published in leading national law journals. He recently began writing for the blog Legal Hacker.

He has an LL.M. from the University of Washington, a JD from the J. Reuben Clark Law School and a BS in mathematics from Brigham Young University.
