Sana Ali is Manager of Global Privacy and Cybersecurity Policy at the Information Technology Industry Council, where she facilitates ITI’s global strategy development and advocacy efforts on issues including cybersecurity, surveillance and communications privacy. ITI is a Washington, DC-based trade association that represents companies from the ICT industry. As an advocacy organization, ITI works to influence policy issues aimed at encouraging innovation and promoting global competitiveness. Ali is CIPP/E certified and prior to this position, was a member of the ICANN Non-Commercial User Constituency, where she represented the privacy interests of Internet end users in the Next-Generation gTLD Registration Directory Service multistakeholder policy development process working group.
