Executive Director, Cyberskills Management Support Initiative, Department of Homeland SecurityRenee Forney manages cyber-related projects for the Under Secretary for Management and leads DHS-wide cyber workforce programs. Forney also serves as an ambassador for DHS cyber careers with external partners, including federal agencies and academic institutions. She was the Deputy Director of the DHS Balanced Workforce Program, aimed at determining the appropriate federal and private sector workforce balance for DHS functions. Prior to DHS, she was the Branch Chief in Business Intelligence Division of the General Services Administration. Previously, she held a variety of information assurance and technology roles in the private sector. She has a B.S. from DeVry and a M.S. in Engineering Management from George Washington University, as well as her CISSP and PMP.
