Chairman and CEO, Palo Alto Networks
Mark D. McLaughlin joined as President and Chief Executive Officer of Palo Alto Networks in August of 2011 and became Chairman of the Board in 2012.
Before Palo Alto Networks, McLaughlin served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Verisign, Vice President of Business Development for Signio, Vice President of Business Development for Gemplus, He also served as General Counsel of Caere Corporation and practiced law with Cooley Godward Kronish LLP.
In 2014, President Obama appointed McLaughlin as Chairman of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC). He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law and his B.S. from the US Military Academy, West Point.
